Phil started working with a homebuilder in 1990 and decided to concentrate on remodeling in 1997 when he founded Hilltop Building & Remodeling.

In 2008 Phil and his family visited and instantly fell in love with North Carolina. In 2011 his family left Boston, Massachusetts to Huntersville, North Carolina where his family enjoys the great weather and lifestyle of lake living.
